Schedular Taxpayer Service


If you are paying withholding tax (now called “schedular payments”), the IRD may owe you money.

On average, NZ Accounting’s schedular payment clients turning over $20,000 per annum get back $975 every year from the IRD.

Here’s what you get:

NZ Accounting will spend up to four hours with you initially to set everything up.

NZ Accounting will meet with you for four hours twice a year to file your GST and end of year tax returns. You’ll know on the day how much tax you’ll get back.

NZ Accounting will review any contracts you need to sign at any point in the year, so that you know where you stand before you sign anything.

NZ Accounting will provide you with up to three hours per annum to mediate disputes or represent you in any way, to banks, government agencies, businesses or individuals.

This is payable in either;

- monthly instalments of $66 or;

- in two lump-sum payments of $391, or;

- one up-front payment of $781.88.

Q: I don’t know anything about accounting, what do I have to do?

A: Nothing. NZ Accounting does everything for you. Along the way NZ Accounting will educate you so that you can benefit even more from being a self-employed person.

Q: NZ Accounting is based in Hamilton, do I have to come to Hamilton to get my books done?

A: No, NZ Accounting comes to you. NZ Accounting operates a mobile service and will visit you at your home or business, anywhere in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, and Wellington. If you are out of these areas NZ Accounting may still be able to service you, please contact NZ Accounting to find out more.

During the rest of the year NZ Accounting provides phone-based assistance and is available 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. NZ Accounting responds to requests within 4 working hours.

Q: What if my business grows, or if i have other businesses?

A: NZ Accounting specialises in micro-business / SME’s – if you turn over less than $500,000 per annum, NZ Accounting can help you.

Q: I have overdue returns, what do I do?

A: NZ Accounting can meet with you to assess your needs and work out a price to undertake it.

Q: I didn’t claim expenses against my income in previous years, what do I do?

A: Expenses against your income can be claimed back for up to seven years, even if you have already filed your tax returns. NZ Accounting can meet with you to assess your needs and work out a price to undertake it.
