How much?
NZ Accounting charges $75/hr during weekdays or $125/hr on weekends (plus GST). Terms are strictly payment on completion.

TURNOVER ESTIMATE TIME TO COMPLETE
< $100,000 $450+gst 4 – 6 HOURS
$100,001 – $250,000 $600+gst 6 – 8 HOURS
$250,001 – $500,000 $1,000+gst 8 – 10 HOURS
For that, you get:

- All your invoices and receipts entered for you.
- 12 mths of GST filed.
- Your business tax filed.

A MESSAGE FROM MICHAEL FRESNEL, PROPRIETOR, NZ ACCOUNTING.
Hi, and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Michael Fresnel, I am the proprietor of NZ Accounting.
Accounting runs in the blood – in my family, it used to be that you’re either an accountant or a priest!
But I was a late starter. When I left school I moved towards business – returning to study accounting when I was 24 and completing a BOPPDipBus.
From there, while working as an accountant, I continued to operate small businesses.
During this phase I was a sworn convert to Quickbooks and became one of the top sellers of the product – in fact, I was told one day that only the big retailers sold more Quickbooks than me. I swore by Quickbooks because I tested many small business accounting products on the market at the time including MYOB, Xero, and Quickbooks, but found Quickbooks was the best.
However, increasingly I would find clients coming back to me, unsatisfied with accounting software. I had to agree with them – it all seemed too complicated. Surely there was a better way.
But there wasn’t.
As is often the way, I had a few friends who asked me to do their books for them. They were a bit behind, and I reluctantly agreed. But as it was a favour, and I wasn’t making anything out of it, I cobbled together an excel based accounting system because I wanted something really fast that would just get it done.
Well, that was three years ago, and none of them would leave! Every year they have returned, bringing more friends with them. And each year, reluctantly, I have improved my process.
This became the model for the NZ Accounting system of today. But I wasn’t going to start a new firm – because last year I had a really big failure (see Octafuel).
So this year, I told them all – it was over. I intended that I would finish off their books and move on. But my friends urged me to kick something off, because of how well the NZ Accounting process works.
I was very reluctant, but over time, they convinced me to get back on the horse.
Well, that’s history now, I guess, because here I am. All I would like to say is, let’s talk. Call me personally and we can discuss why I think the NZ Accounting process will revolutionise your business back office.
You should call me because I am genuinely passionate about small business. I have personally witnessed failure, and wild success during my time in business.
And I have worked with many hundreds of clients advising them as an accountant over the years.
This has led me to the conclusion that being in business is hard yakka – but it is also very rewarding. In regards the hard yakka, for a very minimal fee, I can at least reduce the time you spend in the office, because I do all the data entry for you – personally.
And, because of the clever system I can offer you, it’s really cheap.
